Lizzie does it again with the fifth installment of the DEAD series DEAD Hot. I didn't think things could get better but then again with the ending like DEAD Memory I had a feeling that we would get to catch up with everyone sooner or later.
DEAD Hot starts out like the others did with us meeting up with a new character this one just happens to be named Sharla Gomez and she so happens to be a shifter. She also has a thing for the mysterious Dorsey that is bartender to the club that Dovey owns. In the beginning, you don't know much about Dorsey but Sharla wants to know more but the feelings she gets from him sometimes are strange and makes her uneasy. What do these strange feelings mean? What kind of guy was this Dorsey person? Well, guess you are just going to have to get the book to find out. :)
This book had all the mystery, adventure and sexiness that the other DEAD series books had and honestly, they just kept getting better and better. The writing is fresh and story lines keep you turning the page so you can see what is happening next. The imagination that Lizzie has speaks volumes in this book and I love the twists that the book has. It keeps you guessing which is a huge plus for me. All in all this book was one of my favorites.

Beyond Magic, the first book in the Magical Love series won the 2012 Award of Excellence Best Paranormal/Fantasy/Sy-Fi, and is a finalist for Best Paranormal in the Aspen Gold. Winners are announced in mid to late October.
Since discovering the fun of writing paranormal, she plays with creating vampires, faeries and other immortals. Her current focus is the DEAD series. Musa Publishing has re-released the first four novellas in the series and DEAD Hot, a new novella, is scheduled to release in October. Emerging Magic, the second novel in the Magical Love series will also release in late October or early November with Passion in Print Press.
When not creating mischief for paranormal beings, she can be found exploring the other genres she wants to write. She also serves as the 2012 President for the Heart of Denver Romance Writers.
Lizzie loves to read, spend time with her family and travel with her best friend husband during her free time, on which most of friends ask…“what free time?”
