My Review
Honestly, what more can I say about Manic that hasn't already been said. I mean, if you haven't already been reading this series you are totally missing out and you need to get your copy of Tragic right now and get to reading. I mean, seriously where have you been because these books keep getting better and better.
I know some reviews have stated that they didn't like the problems that Rook seemed to be going through and I will admit that it was hard watching her make mistakes, however it made her much more real for me and relatable. I knew how she was feeling when she wasn't treating Ronin as she should have because I feel like I am in that boat right now. Relationships are confusing and messed up sometimes but honestly I think she is going to see the error of her ways and get her act together. Sometimes you have to really mess up in order to learn from your mistakes and in Rooks case I think that is how it is going to go. I do agree that she totally needs to get her act together before Ronin takes his act somewhere else.
I'm loving how the hot and sexiness of everything from Tragic has boiled over into Manic and I hope that it continues in Panic. I want more Ronin and I want to know more about him. Yes, I love the mystery behind him but we can't live on mystery and intrigue alone. I also want to see Rook evolve more. In the first book she was finding her own and getting away from some really bad stuff and now she seemed confused about how she really wanted everything to go. She has been thrown through loops and so now it's time for things to work out and for her and Ronin to live a hot and steamy life together.
So, if you are wondering ... I would totally recommend this book. I have been actually. I have been telling my girlfriends all about Rook and Ronin and even have a few of them hooked already. It's one of those hot and sexy books that you don't want to put down because you are afraid of what Rook and Ronin might do while you're gone. tee hee ;)

J. A. Huss likes to write new adult books that make you think and keep you guessing. Her favorite genre to read is space opera, but since practically no one reads those books, she writes new adult science fiction, paranormal romance, contemporary romance, urban fantasy, and books about Junco (who refuses to be saddled with a label).
She has an undergraduate degree in horses, (yes, really–Thank you, Colorado State University) and a master’s degree in forensic toxicology from the University of Florida.
