Holy Matrimony
by Krystal S. Willingham
by Krystal S. Willingham
Death will walk beside me
As I walk down the aisle.
Looking into your eyes
Watching as my life
Now fads away
With every step I take.
Every second that slips away.
Not ever knowing
What it would be like
To have one happy moment,
The one happy moment
That was to be spent with you.
Yes, death will be the one
To walk with me
Down the aisle
To your waiting arms
Where my life will fade away
Into this darkness called eternity
Never to be heard of again
Until the day
When I take my last breath
And death again will be with me
To take me into another world
Where we shall be together again.
You wrote this didn't you. It's beautiful. It made me tear up and that's saying something from a robot. I liked it and how death was mentioned as more of a character (I love it when Death is a character). It. Was. Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteP.S. the new design and header looks gorgeous!
