Halloween Sucks - Says Lily Drake Blog Hop & Giveaway

Welcome to the most vamptrific blog on the internet. All this week I will be dishing out what I love most about vampires and all their mysterious and blood thirsty goodness. I am so excited to sink my fangs into some juicy good books this month too. I just love the month of October and Halloween!

I am so excited to be participating in this awesome blog hop. Go to InkSpell now if you want to join in on all of the Halloween Sucks fun.

I'm sure many of you don't know but I love Halloween. I mean, I seriously love it! Ever since I was a kid I have been under its spell. With Halloween comes all of the witches, demons, ghosts and of course the famous vampires. This is what Halloween Sucks Blog Hop is all about ... the Vampires.

Vampires are seen as beautiful, mysterious, sexy and something else that everyone seems to be captivated by. I know I love vampires and there is just something about them that really gets my blood pumping. Haha That is why this week I plan to showcase what I love most about them showcased in the books and movies that I can't help but to indulge in every chance I get.

Today I am starting out with my most indulgent, hot and steamy vampire set of all time.

True Blood and the Sookie Stackhouse series.

I am not about to sit here and say that I have read even one of the books because I haven't. Sadly, I didn't know much about them before the TV series came out. However, that still doesn't stop me from loving them and wanting them all for myself along with every season of True Blood.

Now, I say lets have one hell of a great Giveaway! *everyone cheers* Seriously, who doesn't love a good giveaway.

Also, here is a question for you ... What do you love most about Vampires? Leave the answer for me in the comments.

The Life and Death of Lily Drake
by T. Michelle Nelson

For Lily Drake, slaying vampires is easy...Dating them is the hard part.

Lily Drake is your everyday hard-working single mom…until a gorgeous vampire shows up on her front door who she mistakenly assumes is her blind date for the evening. As one crazy scenario after another unfolds, Lily finds herself falling in love with two vampires, slaying the evil ones, and being prophesied as the savior of the entire undead race.
Deciding between pizza and Chinese take-out will no longer be one of the hard decisions facing Lily Drake once she is emerged into vampire society. Humanity or immortality? That doesn't hold a candle against this question - which of the two handsome vampire cousins?

The Life and Death of Lily Drake is not your typical vampire love story. It’s a tale about the humorous mistakes a woman makes simply trying to survive not only life, but the dating scene. How will Lily manage working full-time, taking care of her young son and fighting the undead at every turn?
Lily will have to figure it out, but who better to save the world than a mom?

  3. How cool! I'm participating in this hop too! :D I'm embarrassed to say that although I love vampire TV (not vampire books, surprisingly), I have watched not one episode of Eric Northman. Everyone seems to be recommending Eric but I don't even know who he is! I seriously need to get on that ;)

    1. I love vampire TV too but I don't get to watch True Blood as much as I would like. I haven't gotten to watch it in a long while but what I can say is that Eric Northman is one bad guy that is way to hot to hate. That is what all of the talk is about. If you ever get the chance though def check out True Blood. It's a really awesome TV show.

Thank you so much for stopping by. Don't be a stranger. :)
